Marissa is a Senior Project Manager at Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates, Inc. in Brooklyn, NY, where she draws on her background in agriculture, soils, and ecology to inform her work. While at MVVA she has been focused on coordinating planting efforts for and overseeing construction of the Tulsa: A Gathering Place park in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and developing conceptual and planting designs for projects in New York, Texas, and Massachusetts.
